KEVIN: So there’s this separation that happens with the holiness. So the angels want people to understand that when they give they’re actually taking away from the world and giving it to God! They’re actually the ones that are taking what’s in the world and giving it back to God.
RYAN: And you actually said that Satan is just – he gets ticked that we even get a paycheck!
KEVIN: Yeah. He’s livid because he considers every penny that leaves his system as stealing from him!
RYAN: That’s incredible!
KEVIN: So even like if you work a secular job?
RYAN: Yeah.
KEVIN: I was told by the Lord that the Satan looks at that as though you’re stealing. He doesn’t even want you to get a paycheck so every penny, even if you find a penny on the street and you take it he doesn’t even want a Christian to have a penny because it’s taking out of his system! And so the Lord showed me that if people would give the tithe that they’re separating all of their money. So you take a small portion, which is a tenth, but you get the ownership of all that you have! The Lord takes over everything and the devil can’t do a thing about it! He cannot touch it!
RYAN: And then even moving beyond tithing, even giving.
KEVIN: Yes.
RYAN: Let alone giving it to Jewish ministry and Israel in these Last Days.
KEVIN: Right.
RYAN: But really you’re slapping the enemy around when you decide to give against what the world system is.
KEVIN: Yes. But see the angels and the Lord look at this as dominion. They look at you as exercising your authority when you give and when you tithe!
RYAN: Wow!
KEVIN: Because it’s warfare!
RYAN: Wow!
KEVIN: And it gives us a whole nother idea about that.
RYAN: Yeah you need to write a book about that!
KEVIN: [Laughs] Thank you!
RYAN: How does that translate into sonship and covenant?
KEVIN: Okay. Here’s the thing is when you start to participate in kingdom principles that Jesus taught because think about this, Ryan. If you were given an extra 40 days to teach after you died and you resurrected like Jesus was, and that it says in Acts that He went around for 40 days teaching, wouldn’t you like the CD series of that 40 days?
RYAN: [Laughing] Yeah.
KEVIN: It says that He went around teaching about the kingdom of God.
RYAN: Wow!
KEVIN: So Jesus was given 40 days extra because Jesus told me that the Father was paying Him back for the 40 days He got tempted in the desert!
RYAN: Oooh! That’s good!
KEVIN: So the 40 days was given to Him as an extra added bonus! And so He taught on the kingdom so that’s very important! Well, part of the kingdom is this giving and it’s also participating in this kingdom means that you’re a son, not a servant! It’s a sonship!
RYAN: A lot of people don’t see themselves that way right now.
