MARY: And so there’s a lot of things going on. They have a task force they’re putting together to abolish the sex trafficking that’s going on in this country and in other countries –
KYNAN: Wow!
MARY: We’re partnering with to abolish sex trafficking.
KYNAN: Mmm.
MARY: So that’s very exciting to me.
MARY: So these are things that –
KYNAN: Yeah.
MARY: Have never been done before by any President!
KYNAN: You know I want you to hold that thought. When we come back we’re going to talk a little bit more about how the Church is to respond prophetically. We’ve heard the words coming forth. KYNAN: Welcome back to Something More! [music ends] And we have Mary Colbert and Mark Taylor and we’ve been talking about you! That’s right! You! You’re the Church! Jesus says I will build My Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it! And we’ve been talking about the prophetic happenings going on in our society today, in the White House. What’s going on in our culture? Everybody knows there’s a shift. Many are ruffled. Many are even discombobulated! But we believe God’s in the midst of it! How important is it now to understand the Church’s responsibility in this hour? How was it before? How far have we come? How are things shifting in our favor and what do we need to do about it?
MARK: Well I think the important thing to understand is that the Church first off is the spiritual and moral compass of any nation.
KYNAN: Yes. Very good.
MARK: And so we have to back to our roots. We’ve had some things happen on a political scale that has stifled the Church that’s kind of stolen their authority, their power.
KYNAN: Hmm.
MARK: So God is releasing that now and giving them an opportunity now to begin to flow in more power and authority. So we need to pursue that! The second thing is that I don’t want people to get complacent thinking just because Donald Trump’s in office that everything’s going to be grand.
